Massimo is a corporate lawyer who focuses on cross-border M&A, corporate finance and infrastructure transactions. He advises investors and sellers (including family offices and private equity funds) in cross-border acquisitions or exits; borrowers and lenders on international project finance and leveraged finance transactions; sponsors of infrastructure projects in the bid for, development and management of the project; as well as investors and shareholders in early stage companies and corporate matters in general.
Previously, Massimo was a partner in the London office of Squire Patton Boggs for a number of years, then General Counsel of Damac Properties in Dubai and most recently General Counsel and COO of Quercus Investment Partners (a private equity fund focused on renewable energy investments based in London and Dubai DIFC). He also been Senior Counsel at the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), assisting in the structuring, execution, management or exit of the bank’s equity investments and debt financings across CEE and Central Asia. Massimo has been based in New York, London, Singapore, Dubai and Riyadh.
